Under section 18 of the Apiary Inspection Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:
2018-38
1This Regulation may be cited as the General Regulation - Apiary Inspection Act.
2(1)No person shall import bees into the Province from another province or a territory of Canada unless the bees are accompanied by a certificate issued not more than six months before the importation by the appropriate authority of that province or territory, certifying that the bees are free from American Foulbrood, Varroa Mite and Tracheal Mite.
2(2)Every person having possession of bees referred to in subsection (1) shall, for a period of six months after the bees are imported,
(a) retain possession of the certificate issued respecting the bees, and
(b) on the request of an inspector, produce the certificate for inspection by the inspector.
