REGULATION 98-33

Highway Act

Under sections 37 and 67 of the Highway Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council, or the Minister with the approval of the Lieutenant-Governor in Council, as the case may be, makes the provisions of the following Regulation:
1This Regulation may be cited as the Commercial Vehicle Weighing Regulation - Highway Act.
2The Commercial Vehicle Massing Regulation - Motor Vehicle Act, being New Brunswick Regulation 83-199 under the Motor Vehicle Act, is adopted with the necessary modifications for the purposes of
(a) designating a device of a kind that is designed to measure weight as being an approved weighing device for the purposes of section 37 of the Highway Act, and
(b) establishing the manner in which vehicles and axles are to be weighed for the purposes of the Highway Act.
3New Brunswick Regulation 82-26 under the Highway Act is repealed.
4This Regulation comes into force on June 1, 1998.
