Under section 38 of the Highway Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister, makes the following Regulation:

1This Regulation may be cited as the Controlled Access Highways in Victoria County Regulation - Highway Act.
2The highways or portions of highways in Victoria County in Schedule A are designated as controlled access highways under the categories specified in the Schedule.
3This Regulation comes into force on August 15, 1994.

VICTORIA COUNTY
PART I - Route 2

Route 2 - Grand Falls to River de Chute

1All that portion of Route 2 from the boundary between Madawaska County and Victoria County to the boundary between Victoria County and Carleton County located in Grand Falls Parish and Andover Parish, Victoria County, designated as a level I controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 2 and the boundary between Madawaska County and Victoria County; thence in a southeasterly direction along the centre line of Route 2 for a distance of approximately 56 kilometres to the boundary between Victoria County and Carleton County, including all existing and future interchange or at grade intersection ramps and on and off lanes including tapers on all connecting highways.

Route 218

2All that portion of Route 218 located in Grand Falls Parish, Victoria County, designated as a level III controlled access highway on the east side of Route 218 and a level IV controlled access highway on the west side of Route 218 and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 218 that is 65 metres north of the intersection of the centre lines of Route 218 and the south bound exit ramp from Route 2; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Route 218 for a distance of 130 metres.

Route 130 at Grand Falls

3All that portion of Route 130 located in Grand Falls Parish, Victoria County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 130 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Route 130 for a distance of approximately 190 metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 130 and the property access road extending easterly.

Route 130 at Grand Falls Portage

4All that portion of Route 130 located in Grand Falls Parish, Victoria County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 130 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in an easterly direction along the centre line of Route 130 for a distance of 245 metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 130 and Argosy Road, and
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 130 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a westerly direction along the centre line of Route 130 for a distance of 180 metres.

Route 130 at Aroostook Portage

5All that portion of Route 130 located in Grand Falls Parish, Victoria County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 130 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Route 130 for a distance of approximately 375 metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 130 and the property access road extending easterly, and
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 130 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Route 130 for a distance of 370 metres.

6All that portion of Route 130 located in Andover Parish, Victoria County, designated as a level III controlled access highway on the south side of Route 130 and level IV controlled access highway on the north side of Route 130 and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 130 that is 65 metres west of the intersection of the centre line of Route 130 and the centre of the ramp for Route 2; thence in an easterly direction along the centre line of Route 130 for a distance of 130 metres.

7All that portion of Route 190 located in Andover Parish, Victoria County, designated as a level III controlled access highway on the north side of Route 190 and a level IV controlled access highway on the south side of Route 190 and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 190 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a westerly direction along the centre line of Route 190 for an approximate distance of 405 metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 190 and the property access road extending northerly.

8All that portion of Route 109 located in Andover Parish, Victoria County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 109 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in an easterly direction along the centre line of Route 109 for a distance of approximately 115 metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Fort Road and Route 109.

9All that portion of Route 108 from Route 385 to the point that is 7.272 kilometres east of Route 385 located in Gordon Parish, Victoria County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 108 and Route 385; thence in a southerly and easterly direction along the centre line of Route 108 for a distance of 7.272 kilometres, including all existing and future interchange or at grade intersection ramps and on and off lanes including tapers on all connecting highways.

10All that portion of Route 390 located in Gordon Parish, Victoria County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the point on the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 390 that is at the centre of the grade separation for Route 108; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Route 390 for a distance of approximately 163 metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 390 and Craig Street.

11All that portion of Tobique Street located in Gordon Parish, Victoria County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the point on the centre line of the travelled portion of Tobique Street that is at the centre of the grade separation for Route 108; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Tobique Street for a distance of 120 metres.

12All that portion of Route 109 located in Andover Parish, Victoria County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 109 and F. Tribe Road; thence in a southeasterly direction along the centre line of Route 109 for a distance of approximately 930 metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 130 and Route 109.

13All that portion of Fort Road located in Andover Parish, Victoria County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 109 and Fort Road; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of the Fort Road for a distance of 65 metres.
