The highways or portions of highways in Saint John County in Schedule A are designated as controlled access highways under the categories specified in the Schedule.

This Regulation comes into force on August 15, 1994.

SAINT JOHN COUNTY
PART I - Route 1
Division A

Route 1 - Lepreau to Market Place Interchange

All that portion of Route 1 from the boundary between Charlotte County and Saint John County to Market Place Interchange located in Musquash Parish and The City of Saint John, Saint John County, designated as a
level I
controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 1 and the boundary between Charlotte County and Saint John County; thence in an easterly direction along the centre line of Route 1 for a distance of approximately 34.552Â kilometres to the point that is at the centre of the median for Route 1 and the centre of the median for the Market Place Interchange ramps, including all existing and future interchange or at grade intersection ramps and on and off lanes including tapers on all connecting highways.

Route 790

All that portion of Route 790 located in Musquash Parish, Saint John County, designated as a
level III
controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 790 and the centre of the median for Route 1; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Route 790 for a distance of 320Â metres.

Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Seven Mile Lake Road and the centre of the median for Route 1; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Seven Mile Lake Road for a distance of approximately 280Â metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Seven Mile Lake Road and a property access road extending easterly.

Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Prince of Wales Road and the centre of the median for Route 1; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Prince of Wales Road for a distance of 290Â metres.

Beginning at the point on the centre line of the travelled portion of King William Road that is at the centre of the grade separation for Route 1; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of King William Road for a distance of 160Â metres.
Catherwood Street

controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the point on the centre line of the travelled portion of Catherwood Street that is at the centre of the grade separation for Route 1; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Catherwood Street for a distance of approximately 225Â metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Catherwood Street and Route 100.
Bleury Street

controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the point on the centre line of the travelled portion of Bleury Street that is at the centre of the grade separation for Route 1; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Bleury Street for a distance of approximately 175Â metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Bleury Street and Simms Street.

Beginning at the point on the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 100 that is 45Â metres east of the centre of the Mill Street Viaduct grade separation; thence in an easterly direction along the centre line of Route 100 for a distance of 130Â metres.

Beginning at the point on the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 100 that is 255Â metres west of the centre of the grade separation for Route 1 (MacKay Highway Interchange); thence in an easterly direction along the centre line of Route 100 for a distance of approximately 660Â metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 100 and Old Route 100.

Beginning at the point on the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 7 that is on the boundary between Kings County and Saint John County; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Route 7 for a distance of approximately 9.670Â kilometres to the centre line of the grade separation for Route 1, including all existing and future interchange or at grade intersection ramps and on and off lanes including tapers on all connecting highways.
Route 177 at Martinon

All that portion of Route 177 from Route 7 to Martinon Road located in The City of Saint John, Saint John County, designated as a
level III
controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the point on the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 177 that is at the centre of the grade separation for Route 7; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Route 177 for a distance of approximately 2.73Â kilometres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 177 and the south entrance to Martinon Road, including all existing and future interchange or at grade intersection ramps and on and off lanes including tapers on all connecting highways.
Route 100

controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the point on the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 100 that is at the centre of the grade separation for Route 7; thence in a westerly direction along the centre line of Route 100 for a distance of 225Â metres, and
Beginning at the point on the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 100 that is at the centre of the grade separation for Route 7; thence in an easterly direction along the centre line of Route 100 for a distance of 490Â metres.
PART III - Route 111
Route 111 - Kings/Saint John County Line to Loch Lomond Road

controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the point on the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 111 that is on the boundary between Kings County and Saint John County; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Route 111 for a distance of approximately 5.283Â kilometres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 111 and Loch Lomond Road, including all existing and future interchange or at grade intersection ramps and on and off lanes including tapers on all connecting highways.
Golden Grove Road

All those portions of Golden Grove Road located in The City of Saint John, Saint John County, designated as a
level III
controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the point on the centre line of the travelled portion of Golden Grove Road that is at the centre of the grade separation for Route 111; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Golden Grove Road for a distance of 105Â metres, and
Beginning at the point on the centre line of the travelled portion of Golden Grove Road that is at the centre of the grade separation for Route 111; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Golden Grove Road for a distance of 115Â metres.
Sproule Road

All those portions of Sproule Road located in The City of Saint John, Saint John County, designated as a
level III
controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Sproule Road and Route 111; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Sproule Road for a distance of 200Â metres, and
Beginning at the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Sproule Road and Route 111; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Sproule Road for a distance of 200Â metres.
