Under section 38 of the Highway Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister, makes the following Regulation:
2010, c.31, s.72
1This Regulation may be cited as the Controlled Access Highways in Westmorland County Regulation - Highway Act.
2The highways or portions of highways in Westmorland County in Schedule A are designated as controlled access highways under the categories specified in the Schedule.
3This Regulation comes into force on August 15, 1994.
SCHEDULE A
WESTMORLAND COUNTY
PART I - Route 1
Route 1 - Kings/Westmorland County Line to Route 2
1All that portion of Route 1 from the boundary between Kings County and Westmorland County to Route 2 in Salisbury Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level I controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 1 and the boundary between Kings County and Westmorland County; thence in an easterly direction along the centre line of Route 1 for a distance of approximately 17.344 kilometres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 1 and Route 2, including all existing and future interchange or at grade intersection ramps and on and off lanes including tapers on all connecting highways.
Route 905
2All that portion of Route 905 located in Salisbury Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 905 and the centre of the grade separation for Route 1; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Route 905 for a distance of approximately 154 metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 905 and Hooper Lane.
Route 106 at Village of Petitcodiac
3All that portion of Route 106 located in Salisbury Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 106 and the centre of the grade separation for Route 1; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Route 106 for a distance of 120 metres.
Route 106 at River Glade
4All those portions of Route 106 located in Salisbury Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 106 and the centre of the median for Route 1; thence in an easterly direction along the centre line of Route 106 for a distance of 348 metres, and
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 106 and the centre of the median for Route 1; thence in a westerly direction along the centre line of Route 106 for a distance of 273 metres.
PART II - Route 2
Route 2 - Kings/Westmorland County Line to Nova Scotia Border
5All that portion of Route 2 from the boundary between Kings County and Westmorland County to the Nova Scotia border located in Salisbury Parish, Moncton Parish, Dorchester Parish and Sackville Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level I controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 2 and the boundary between Kings County and Westmorland County; thence in an easterly direction along the centre line of Route 2 for a distance of approximately 104.067 kilometres to the boundary between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, including all existing and future interchange or at grade intersection ramps and on and off lanes including tapers on all connecting highways.
Route 885
6All those portions of Route 885 located in Salisbury Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the travelled portion of Route 885 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a northwesterly direction along the centre line of Route 885 for a distance of 310 metres, and
Beginning at a point on the travelled portion of Route 885 that is approximately 790 metres east of the intersection of the travelled portion of Route 885 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in an easterly direction along the centre line of Route 885 for a distance of 160 metres.
Route 112
7All those portions of Route 112 located in Salisbury Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 112 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Route 112 for a distance of 180 metres, and
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 112 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Route 112 for a distance of 185 metres.
Route 126 (Mountain Road – North)
8All those portions of Route 126 located in Moncton Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 126 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Route 126 for a distance of approximately 255 metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 126 and Ensley Drive.
Route 126 (Mountain Road – South)
8.1All those portions of Route 126 located in Moncton Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway on the northeast side of Route 126 (Mountain Road) and a level IV controlled access highway on the southwest side of Route 126 (Mountain Road) and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 126 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Route 126 for a distance of 450 metres.
Gorge Road
9All those portions of Gorge Road located in Moncton Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Gorge Road and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Gorge Road for a distance of 275 metres, and
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Gorge Road and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Gorge Road for a distance of 175 metres.
Mapleton Road
10All those portions of Mapleton Road located in Moncton Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Mapleton Road and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Mapleton Road for a distance of approximately 170 metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Mapleton Road and Queensway Drive, and
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Mapleton Road and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Mapleton Road for a distance of approximately 185 metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Mapleton Road and the property access road extending easterly.
Route 115
11All those portions of Route 115 located in Moncton Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 115 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Route 115 for a distance of 240 metres, and
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 115 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Route 115 for a distance of 135 metres.
Harrisville Boulevard (Caledonia Industrial Estates)
12All those portions of Harrisville Boulevard located in Moncton Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Harrisville Boulevard and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Harrisville Boulevard for a distance of 155 metres, and
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Harrisville Boulevard and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Harrisville Boulevard for a distance of 215 metres.
Route 134
13All those portions of Route 134 located in Moncton Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 134 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Route 134 for a distance of 150 metres, and
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 134 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Route 134 for a distance of approximately 165 metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 134 and the property access road extending easterly.

Calhoun Road
15All that portion of Calhoun Road located in Dorchester Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Calhoun Road and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Calhoun Road for a distance of 440 metres.
Old Shediac Road
16All that portion of Old Shediac Road located in Dorchester Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre of the travelled portion of Old Shediac Road and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Old Shediac Road for a distance of approximately 335 metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Old Shediac Road and the property access road extending westerly.
Renaissance Street
17All those portions of Renaissance Street located in Dorchester Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Renaissance Street and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Renaissance Street for a distance of approximately 245 metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Renaissance Street and the property access road extending easterly, and
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Renaissance Street and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Renaissance Street for a distance of 245 metres.
Pont Rouge Road

Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Pont Rouge Road and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a westerly direction along the centre line of Pont Rouge Road for a distance of 185 metres.
Route 933
19All that portion of Route 933 located in Dorchester Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 933 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in an easterly direction along the centre line of Route 933 for a distance of 150 metres.
Memramcook-Est Road
20All that portion of Memramcook-Est Road located in Dorchester Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Memramcook-Est Road and Lac Road; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Memramcook-Est Road for a distance of 400 metres.
Lac Road
21All that portion of Lac Road located in Dorchester Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Lac Road and Memramcook-Est Road; thence in a westerly direction along the centre line of Lac Road for a distance of 280 metres.
Walker Road
22All those portions of Walker Road located in Sackville Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Walker Road and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in an easterly direction along the centre line of Walker Road for a distance of 220 metres, and
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Walker Road and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a westerly direction along the centre line of Walker Road for a distance of 250 metres.
Route 940
23All those portions of Route 940 located in Sackville Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 940 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Route 940 for a distance of approximately 166 metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 940 and the Tantramar Regional High School entrance, and
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 940 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Route 940 for a distance of approximately 185 metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 940 and Mallard Drive.
Route 106

Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 106 and the centre of the median for Route 2; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Route 106 for a distance of approximately 186 metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 106 and Cattail Ridge Road, and

Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 11 and the centre of the grade separation for Route 15; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Route 11 for a distance of approximately 8.015 kilometres to the boundary between Westmorland County and Kent County, including all existing and future interchange or at grade intersection ramps and on and off lanes including tapers on all connecting highways.
Route 134
26All those portions of Route 134 located in Shediac Parish, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 134 and the centre of the grade separation for Route 11; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Route 134 for a distance of approximately 570 metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 134 and Grace Street, and

Beginning at the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 15 and Route 106; thence in an easterly direction along the centre line of Route 15 for a distance of approximately 57.205 kilometres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 15 and Route 133, including all existing and future interchange or at grade intersection ramps and on and off lanes including tapers on all connecting highways.
St. George Boulevard
29All those portions of St. George Boulevard located in Moncton, Westmorland County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of St. George Boulevard and the centre of the grade separation for the eastbound lanes of Route 15; thence in a westerly direction along the centre line of St. George Boulevard for a distance of 145 metres, and
