REGULATION 93-184

Liquor Control Act

  Under subsection 200(3) of the Liquor Control Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:
1This Regulation may be cited as the Form of Oath Regulation - Liquor Control Act.
2The following oath of office shall be taken by the person appointed to be the Adjudicator under the Liquor Control Act before the person begins to perform the duties of the Adjudicator:
OATH OF OFFICE
I DO SOLEMNLY SWEAR THAT I will faithfully, truly and impartially, to the best of my judgment, skill and ability, execute and perform the office of Adjudicator under the Liquor Control Act and that, while I continue to hold that office, I will not, directly or indirectly, as owner, shareholder, director, officer, partner or otherwise
(a) engage in the manufacture, sale or distribution of liquor or have any other dealing whatsoever in liquor or in any enterprise or industry in which liquor is required,
(b) have a pecuniary interest or proprietary interest in premises that are licensed under the Liquor Control Act,
(c) have a pecuniary interest in any contract in respect of any licensed premises,
(d) have a pecuniary interest in purchases or sales made by the New Brunswick Liquor Corporation, or
(e) have a direct or indirect interest in an undertaking putting my personal interest in conflict with the interests of the Adjudicator or in carrying out the duties of the Adjudicator under the Liquor Control Act.
3New Brunswick Regulation 83-45 under the Liquor Control Act is repealed.
N.B. This Regulation is consolidated to December 31, 1993.
