Under section 16 of the Trespass Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:

1This Regulation may be cited as the Prohibition of Motor Vehicles Regulation - Trespass Act.
2In this Regulation
“Act” means the Trespass Act.(Loi)
3No person shall trespass by means of a motor vehicle on the categories of land referred to in paragraphs 6(a) to (g) of the Act when the land is identifiable as one of the categories of land referred to in paragraphs 6(a) to (g) of the Act or with respect to which the person has had notice not to trespass.

4(1)Notice not to trespass under section 3 may be given
(a) by means of signs posted so that a sign is clearly visible in daylight under normal conditions from the approach to each ordinary point of access to the land to which it applies, or
(b) by word of mouth or in writing by an authorized person to refrain from entering or remaining on the land.
4(2)A sign referred to in paragraph (1)(a) shall be
(a) a sign bearing the words “no trespassing” or words of similar effect,
(b) a blue disk that has a diameter of not less than twenty-five centimetres, or
(c) a blue painted band that has a width of not less than twenty-five centimetres and encircles a tree or post.
5This Regulation comes into force on July 1, 1990.
