REGULATION 84-127

Metallic Minerals Tax Act

Under subsection 32(1) of the
Metallic Minerals Tax Act
, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:

This Regulation may be cited as the
Excluded Minerals Regulation
-
Metallic Minerals Tax Act
.

The following minerals are excluded from the operation of the
Metallic Minerals Tax Act
:
(
a
)
salt, common salt, rock salt or halite,
(
b
)
sylvite,
(
c
)
carnallite,
(
d
)
langbeinite,
(
e
)
kainite,
(
f
)
kieserite,
(
g
)
glauberite,
(
h
)
any salts of sodium, potassium and magnesium, and
(
i
)
any sulphates, carbonates, nitrates, borates, borosilicates, fluorides and phosphates intimately associated with such minerals.

Regulation 77-104 under the Metallic Minerals Tax Act is repealed.
