REGULATION 83-72

Criminal Code

Under sections 651 and 772 of the Criminal Code, chapter C-34 of the Revised Statutes of Canada, 1970, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:
1This Regulation may be cited as the General Regulation - Criminal Code.
2Where a fine, penalty or forfeiture is imposed or a recognizance is forfeited under the Criminal Code, the proceeds thereof shall be paid to the Province of New Brunswick.
3The fees and allowances provided in items 1 to 29 inclusive in the Schedule to Part XXIV of the Criminal Code shall not be taken or allowed in proceedings before summary conviction courts in the Province of New Brunswick.
4Regulation 72-80 under the Criminal Code of Canada is repealed.
