Under section 192 of the Municipalities Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:
Repealed: 2018-71
1This Regulation may be cited as the Municipal Budgets Regulation - Municipalities Act.
2(1)On or before the thirtieth day of November in each year, each municipality shall submit to the Minister, in a form entitled “Municipal Budgets” supplied by the Minister, an estimate of the money required for the following year’s operation.
2(2)On or before the thirtieth day of November in each year, each rural community shall submit to the Minister, in a form entitled “Rural Community Budgets” supplied by the Minister, an estimate of the money required for the following year’s operation.

3Section 4 of the Water Costs for Fire Protection Regulation - Municipalities Act is repealed and the following substituted therefor:
4Where a municipality determines any amount under paragraph 3(1)(b), it shall, in a form entitled “Municipal Budgets” supplied by the Minister, submit to the Minister its water utility estimates required for the following year’s operation at the time prescribed in the Municipal Budgets Regulation - Municipalities Act.
4Sections 5, 6 and 7 of Regulation 66-58 under the Municipalities Act are repealed.
