Under section 30 of the Fire Prevention Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:
1This Regulation may be cited as the Assessment on Insurance Companies Regulation - Fire Prevention Act.
2For the purposes of subsection 22(1) of the Fire Prevention Act, the sum payable by every insurer is one percent of its premiums, receipts and assessments, less return premiums and cancellations.
3Regulation 60, Statutory Orders and Regulations, 1963, under the Fire Prevention Act is repealed.
N.B. This Regulation is consolidated to December 31, 1997.
