76(7)The service of police protection is prescribed as a service that shall be provided by the Minister in those portions of Strait Shores that comprise the unincorporated areas referred to in subsection (1).

76(8)The service of dangerous or unsightly premises enforcement is prescribed as a service that shall be provided by the Minister throughout Strait Shores.

77(1)The residents of certain unincorporated areas are incorporated as a rural community called Sunbury-York South.

77(2)The territorial limits of Sunbury-York South are shown on the plan in Schedule 77.

77(3)The effective date of the incorporation is January 1, 2023.

77(4)Assets acquired and liabilities incurred by the Minister in connection with the provision of services by the Minister in the unincorporated areas referred to in subsection (1) shall, on incorporation, become assets and liabilities of Sunbury-York South.

77(5)Sunbury-York South is divided into two wards, which are indicated on the plan in Schedule 77.

77(6)For the purpose of the elections held under An Act Respecting Local Governance Reform, the council of Sunbury-York South shall consist of the following eight members:

77(7)The following are prescribed as services that shall be provided by the Minister throughout Sunbury-York South:

78(1)The regional municipality of Tracadie is continued.

78(2)The territorial limits of Tracadie are shown on the plan in Schedule 78.

78(3)The service of police protection is prescribed as a service to be provided by the Minister in the following portions of Tracadie that comprise the former local service districts and portions of former local service districts which are shown on the plan in Schedule A to Regulation 2014-43 under the Municipalities Act, chapter M-22 of the Revised Statutes of New Brunswick, 1973, as it read immediately before the commencement of this section:

79(1)The rural community of Upper Miramichi is continued.

79(2)The territorial limits of Upper Miramichi are shown on the plan in Schedule 79.

79(3)Upper Miramichi is divided into four wards, which are indicated on the plan in Schedule 79.

79(4)The council of Upper Miramichi shall consist of the following five members:

79(5)The service of police protection is prescribed as a service that shall be provided by the Minister throughout Upper Miramichi.
