Under section 68 of the Public Health Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:
Citation
1This Regulation may be cited as the Public Health Inspector Certification Regulation – Public Health Act.
Definition of “Act”
2In this Regulation, “Act” means the Public Health Act.
Required certification
3The following certification is required for the purposes of subsection 62(3) of the Act:
(a) a Certificate in Public Health Inspection (Canada) issued by the Board of Certification of the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors; or
(b) a Certificate in Sanitary Inspection (Canada) issued before July 1, 1979, by the Canadian Public Health Association.
Commencement
4This Regulation comes into force on February 1, 2018.
