Under section 38 of the
Lobbyists’ Registration Act
, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:
Citation

This Regulation may be cited as the
General Regulation – Lobbyists’ Registration Act
.
Definition of “Act”

In this Regulation, “Act” means the
Lobbyists’ Registration Act
.
In-house lobbyist
3
For the purposes of the definition “in-house lobbyist”,
(
a
)
in paragraphs 9(
a
) and 14(
a
) of the Act, 20% of the time an employee spends working constitutes a significant part of the duties of the employee, as calculated during a three-month period, and
(
b
)
in paragraphs 9(
b
) and 14(
b
) of the Act, 20% of the time one full-time employee spends working constitutes a significant part of the duties of one employee, as calculated during a three-month period.
Commencement

This Regulation comes into force on April 1, 2017.
