Under section 95 of the Insurance Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:
Citation
1This Regulation may be cited as the Compensation Associations Regulation - Insurance Act.
Designation of compensation associations
2(1)The Property and Casualty Insurance Compensation Corporation is designated as a compensation association for all classes of insurance listed
(a) in paragraphs 92.2(1)(a) to (k) of the Insurance Act, and
(b) in the Classes of Insurance Regulation - Insurance Act.
2(2)Assuris is designated as a compensation association for all classes of insurance listed in paragraphs 92.2(1)(l) to (n) of the Insurance Act.
Repeal
3New Brunswick Regulation 88-196 under the Insurance Act is repealed.
N.B. This Regulation is consolidated to April 16, 2012.
