Under section 56 of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Board, makes the following Regulation:

Citation
1This Regulation may be cited as the Fees for the Firearm Safety and Conservation Education Program Regulation - Financial Administration Act.
Classroom courses
2The fees for classroom courses are as follows:
(a) firearm safety and hunter education course
(i) for persons 16 years of age and younger, $40.00, and
(ii) for persons 17 years of age and older, $95.00;
(b) firearm safety course
(i) for persons 16 years of age and younger, $40.00, and
(ii) for persons 17 years of age and older, $65.00;
(c) restricted firearms safety course for persons 18 years of age and older, $65.00;
(d) hunter education course
(i) for persons 16 years of age and younger, $40.00, and
(ii) for persons 17 years of age and older, $65.00;
(e) bow hunter education course
(i) for persons 16 years of age and younger, $40.00, and
(ii) for persons 17 years of age and older, $65.00; and
(f) trapper education course
(i) for persons 16 years of age and younger, $0, and
(ii) for persons 17 years of age and older, $65.00.
2023-57
Home study option
3The fees for the home study option for courses for persons 18 years of age and older are as follows:
(a) firearm safety and hunter education course, $65.00;
(b) firearm safety course, $40.00; and
(c) hunter education course, $40.00.
Challenge option
4The fees for taking examinations for the challenge option for persons 18 years of age and older are as follows:
(a) firearm safety, $40.00;
(b) restricted firearms safety, $65.00; and
(c) bow hunter education, $40.00.
Replacement card
5The fee for replacement of a Conservation Education Card issued to a student is $5.00.
Manuals
6The fee for a student manual for any course in the Firearm Safety and Conservation Education Program is $10.00.
Repeal
7New Brunswick Regulation 94-86 under the Financial Administration Act is repealed.
N.B. This Regulation is consolidated to January 1, 2024.
