Under section 17 of the Assessment and Planning Appeal Board Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Regulation:

Citation
1This Regulation may be cited as the General Regulation - Assessment and Planning Appeal Board Act.
Definitions
2In this Regulation
“Act” means the Assessment and Planning Appeal Board Act; (Loi)

Regions
3For the purposes of the Act, the Province is divided into five regions.

Regions
4(1)Region A is established, which comprises region 1 and region 2 identified in Schedule A of Regulation 2022-46.
4(2)Region B is established, which comprises region 3, region 4 and region 5 identified in Schedule A of Regulation 2022-46.
4(3)Region C is established, which comprises region 6 and region 7 identified in Schedule A of Regulation 2022-46.
4(4)Region D is established, which comprises region 8, region 9 and region 10 identified in Schedule A of Regulation 2022-46.
4(5)Region E is established, which comprises region 11 and region 12 identified in Schedule A of Regulation 2022-46.

Remuneration and expenses
5(1)A member of the Board appointed under paragraph 2(1)(b) or subsection 2(1.1) of the Act is entitled to remuneration of
(a) $80 for each half day of appeal hearings that the member attends, or
(b) $160 for each full day of appeal hearings that the member attends.
5(2)For the purposes of subsection (1), a member is entitled to remuneration for attending a full day of appeal hearings if the member attends more than 4 hours of hearings in one day.

Remuneration and expenses
6(1)The Chairperson is entitled to be reimbursed for expenses incurred while acting on behalf of the Board in accordance with the Senior Executive Travel Directive of the Treasury Board.
6(2)Each Vice-Chairperson, the members of the Board appointed under paragraph 2(1)(b) of the Act and the alternate members of the Board appointed under subsection 2(1.1) of the Act are entitled to be reimbursed for expenses incurred while acting on behalf of the Board in accordance with the Travel Directive of the Treasury Board.
