Under section 56 of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Board, makes the following Regulation:

Citation

1This Regulation may be cited as the Fees in Relation to Highway Advertisements Regulation - Financial Administration Act.

Definitions

2In this Regulation

“Minister” means the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure and includes any person designated by the Minister to act on the Minister’s behalf;(Ministre)

“private advertisement” means an advertisement that is manufactured, installed and maintained in conformity with New Brunswick Regulation 97-143 under the Highway Act, other than an advertisement that is manufactured, installed and maintained by the Minister; (publicité privée)

“TOD Fingerboard sign” means a TOD Fingerboard sign manufactured, installed and maintained by the Minister in conformity with New Brunswick Regulation 97-143 under the Highway Act;(panneau TD de destination)

“TOD Highway logo sign” means a TOD Highway logo sign manufactured, installed and maintained by the Minister in conformity with New Brunswick Regulation 97-143 under the Highway Act;(panneau TD de logos au bord des routes)

“TOD Major attraction sign” means a TOD Major attraction sign manufactured, installed and maintained by the Minister in conformity with New Brunswick Regulation 97-143 under the Highway Act;(panneau TD d’attraction majeure)

“TOD Ramp logo sign” means a TOD Ramp logo sign manufactured, installed and maintained by the Minister in conformity with New Brunswick Regulation 97-143 under the Highway Act;(panneau TD de logos le long des bretelles)

“TOD Regular attraction sign” means a TOD Regular attraction sign manufactured, installed and maintained by the Minister in conformity with New Brunswick Regulation 97-143 under the Highway Act; (panneau TD d’attraction ordinaire)

“TOD Secondary attraction sign” means a TOD Secondary attraction sign manufactured, installed and maintained by the Minister in conformity with New Brunswick Regulation 97-143 under the Highway Act;(panneau TD d’attraction secondaire)

“TOD tourist/visitor information sign” means a TOD tourist/visitor information sign manufactured, installed and maintained by the Minister in conformity with New Brunswick Regulation 97-143 under the Highway Act.(panneau TD d’information touristique)

Fees

3The Minister may charge the following fees under this Regulation:

(a)in relation to a TOD Regular attraction sign or a TOD tourist/visitor information sign

(i)for a primary identification sign

(A)for manufacture and installation by the Minister	$600.00

(B)for maintenance, per year	$100.00

(ii)for a follow-up sign

(A)for manufacture and installation by the Minister	$210.00

(B)for maintenance, per year	$40.00

(b)in relation to a TOD Major attraction sign

(i)for manufacture and installation by the Minister: reasonable cost to the Province

(ii)for maintenance by the Minister: reasonable cost to the Province

(c)in relation to a TOD Secondary attraction sign

(i)for manufacture and installation by the Minister	$6,000.00

(ii)for maintenance by the Minister: reasonable cost to the Province

(c.1)in relation to a TOD Fingerboard sign

(i)for manufacture and installation by the Minister	$200.00

(ii)for maintenance, per year	$50.00

(c.2)in relation to a TOD Highway logo sign

(i)for manufacture and installation by the Minister, per business for each logo on the sign	$3,000.00

(ii)for maintenance, per business for each logo on the sign, per year	$300.00

(c.3)in relation to a TOD Ramp logo sign

(i)for manufacture and installation by the Minister, per business for each logo on the sign	$1,000.00

(ii)for maintenance, per business for each logo on the sign, per year	$300.00

(d)in relation to a private advertisement, for site visit by the Minister upon application	$75.00
