An Act to Amend the
Commissioners for Taking Affidavits Act
Assented to December 12, 2025
His Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:
1Subparagraph 3(a)(ii) of the Commissioners for Taking Affidavits Act, chapter 127 of the Revised Statutes, 2011, is repealed and the following is substituted:
(ii) is a Canadian citizen, is a permanent resident of Canada as defined in subsection 2(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada) or is the holder of a work permit issued under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada) authorizing the person to work in the Province, or
