An Act to Amend the
Real Property Tax Act
Assented to December 16, 2022
His Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:
1Section 5 of the Real Property Tax Act, chapter R-2 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is amended
(a) by repealing subsection (1.08);
(b) by repealing subsection (1.081);
(c) in subsection (1.09) by striking out “For the year 2024 and every subsequent year,” and substituting “For the year 2023 and every subsequent year,”;
(d) in subsection (1.091) by striking out “For the year 2024 and every subsequent year,” and substituting “For the year 2023 and every subsequent year,”.
2This Act comes into force or shall be deemed to have come into force on January 1, 2023.
