An Act Respecting the Executive Council Act
and the Legislative Assembly Act
Assented to June 11, 2021
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:
Executive Council Act
1(1)Section 6 of the Executive Council Act, chapter 152 of the Revised Statutes, 2011, is amended
(a) in subsection (1.1) in the portion preceding paragraph (a) by striking out “March 31, 2021” and substituting “March 31, 2022”;
(b) in subsection (2.1) by striking out “March 31, 2021” and substituting “March 31, 2022”;
(c) in subsection (3.1) by striking out “March 31, 2021” and substituting “March 31, 2022”.
1(2)Section 7 of the Act is amended
(a) in subsection (1) in the definition “GDP” by striking out “2007” and substituting “2012”;
(b) in subsection (6) by striking out “March 31, 2021” and substituting “March 31, 2022”.
Legislative Assembly Act
2(1)Subsection 20(1) of the Legislative Assembly Act, chapter 116 of the Revised Statutes, 2014, is amended by striking out “March 31, 2021” and substituting “March 31, 2022”.
2(2)Section 28 of the Act is amended
(a) in subsection (1) in the definition “GDP” by striking out “2007” and substituting “2012”;
(b) in subsection (2.1) by striking out “March 31, 2021” and substituting “March 31, 2022”;
(c) in subsection (6.1) by striking out “March 31, 2021” and substituting “March 31, 2022”;
(d) in subsection (12) by striking out “March 31, 2021” and substituting “March 31, 2022”;
(e) in subsection (16) by striking out “March 31, 2021” and substituting “March 31, 2022”.
3This Act shall be deemed to have come into force on March 31, 2021.
