An Act to Amend the
Days of Rest Act
Assented to June 18, 2020
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:
1Section 4 of the Days of Rest Act, chapter D-4.2 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1985, is amended
(a) by repealing paragraph (1)(a) and substituting the following: 
(a) rent or offer for rent, sell or offer for sale or purchase any service, goods or chattels,
(b) in subsection (3)
(i) in paragraph (v) by striking out “and” at the end of the paragraph;
(ii) in paragraph (w) by striking out the period at the end of the paragraph and substituting “, and”;
(iii) by adding after paragraph (w) the following: 
(x) real estate activities, including the viewing or displaying, the rental or offer for rental, the trade, the sale or offer for sale or purchase of real estate.
Regulation under the Days of Rest Act
2Paragraph 3(1)(d) of New Brunswick Regulation 85-149 under the Days of Rest Act is repealed.
