An Act Respecting Nurse Practitioners
Assented to December 16, 2016
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:
Vital Statistics Act
1(1)Section 29 of the Vital Statistics Act, chapter V-3 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1979, is amended
(a) in subsection (2) by striking out “medical practitioner” and substituting “medical practitioner or nurse practitioner”;
(b) in subsection (4) by striking out “or a medical practitioner” and substituting “or a medical practitioner or nurse practitioner”.
1(2)Subsection 46(1) of the Act is amended by striking out “medical practitioners” and substituting “medical practitioners, nurse practitioners”.
2This Act comes into force on April 1, 2017.
