78(2)Despite the
Civil Service Act, during the period beginning on October 1, 2016, and ending on September 30, 2017, a former employee may be a candidate in a closed competition under the
Civil Service Act as if he or she were an employee within the meaning of the
Civil Service Act and, in relation to that competition, has the status of an employee under that Act for the purposes of sections 33, 33.1 and 33.2 of that Act.
