An Act to Amend the
Medical Services Payment Act
Assented to May 21, 2014
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:
1Section 1 of the French version of the Medical Services Payment Act, chapter M-7 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is amended
(a) by repealing the definition « Ministre »;
(b) by adding the following definition in alphabetical order:
“ministre” désigne le ministre de la Santé;(Minister)
2Section 12 of the Act is amended by adding after paragraph (k) the following:
(k.1) authorizing the Minister to provide a declaration of residency form;
3The French version of the Act is amended by striking out “Ministre” in the following provisions and substituting “ministre”:
(a) section 4 wherever it appears;
(b) paragraph 8(1)h);
(c) section 8.1
(i) subsection (1);
(ii) subsection (2);
(d) section 8.3
(i) subsection (1);
(ii) subsection (2);
(e) section 9;
(f) paragraph 12b.02).
4This Act comes into force on a day to be fixed by proclamation.
