1Section 2 of New Brunswick Regulation 2021-30 under the Fish and Wildlife Act is amended in the definition “wild turkey season” by striking out “two consecutive weeks beginning the second Monday of May” and substituting “three consecutive weeks beginning the first Monday of May”.
2Section 5 of the Regulation is amended by adding after subsection (1) the following:
5(1.1)Despite paragraph (1)(b), the Minister may issue a resident wild turkey licence to a resident whose principal place of residence is outside the Province if that person was born in the Province and is a member of the Canadian Forces or the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
3Subsection 9.1(2) of the Regulation is repealed and the following is substituted:
9.1(2)An application for a non-resident wild turkey licence shall not be accepted after 4:30 p.m. of the last Friday of the month of November of the year preceding the wild turkey season in respect of which the application is made.
