REGULATION 2023-17
under the
Parks Act
(O.C. 2023-49)
Filed March 23, 2023
1Section 22 of New Brunswick Regulation 85-104 under the Parks Act is amended by adding after subsection (1) the following:
22(1.1)For the purposes of the daily and monthly camping fees set out in Schedule B, the high season and the low season are determined as follows:
(a) the high season is
(i) the Saturday following the last Friday in June until Labour Day, inclusive, and
(ii) Victoria Day and the weekend preceding it;
(b) the low season is
(i) the Monday following the third weekend in March until the last Friday in June, inclusive, other than Victoria Day and the weekend preceding it, and
(ii) the Tuesday following Labour Day until October 31, inclusive.
22(1.2)For the purposes of the daily and monthly winter camping fees set out in Schedule B, the high season and the low season are determined as follows:
(a) the high season is from January 1 until the Sunday of the third weekend in March, inclusive;
(b) the low season is from November 1 until December 31, inclusive.
2 The heading “PERMIS D’ENTRÉE POUR VÉHICULE” that precedes section 23 of the French version of the Regulation is amended by striking out “POUR” and substituting “DE”.
3 Section 23 of the Regulation is amended
(a) in subsection (1) of the French version by striking out “permis d’entrée pour véhicule” and substituting “permis d’entrée de véhicule”;
(b) in subsection (2) of the French version by striking out “permis d’entrée pour véhicule” and substituting “permis d’entrée de véhicule”;
(c) by repealing subsection (3.1) and substituting the following:
23(3.1)Except on New Brunswick Day, the following beach maintenance fees shall be added to the vehicle entrance permit fees for Parlee Beach Provincial Park set out in Schedule D:
(a) for a bus, a daily fee of  $13.04;
(b) for a motorcycle,
(i) a daily fee of  $4.35, or
(ii) an annual fee of  $13.04;
(c) for all other vehicles,
(i) a daily fee of  $4.35,
(ii) an annual fee of  $13.04, or
(iii) for the corporate rate, a fee of  $13.04 to cover the maintenance fee for 10 entries.
4Schedule A.1 of the Regulation is amended under the heading “Class: Recreational Park” by adding “North Lake Provincial Park” in alphabetical order.
5Schedule B of the Regulation is repealed and the attached Schedule B is substituted.
6Schedule C of the Regulation is repealed and the attached Schedule C is substituted.
7Schedule D of the Regulation is repealed and the attached Schedule D is substituted.
