1New Brunswick Regulation 87-30 under the Vital Statistics Act is amended by repealing section 11.41 and substituting the following:
11.41For the purposes of paragraph 39(1)(g) of the Act, a certificate of birth registration issued under section 39 of the Act shall include, as a particular of registration, the sex of the person, either male or female, or the non-binary gender identifier “X”.
2 This Regulation comes into force on July 2, 2019.
