REGULATION 2015-63
under the
Municipalities Act

1Section 2 of New Brunswick Regulation 85-6 under the Municipalities Act is repealed and the following is substituted:
2(1)The city called City of Bathurst is continued.
2(2)The territorial limits of the City of Bathurst are decreased and the new territorial limits are shown on the plan attached as Schedule 2(2).
2(3)The inhabitants of the area referred to in subsection (2) continue as the City of Bathurst.
2Section 8 of the Regulation is repealed and the following is substituted:
8(1)The town called Beresford is continued.
8(2)A portion of the City of Bathurst, being an area contiguous to the town called Beresford, is annexed to Beresford and the new territorial limits of Beresford are shown on the plan attached as Schedule 8(2).
8(3)The effective date of the annexation is January 1, 2016.
8(4)The inhabitants of the area referred to in subsection (2) continue as Beresford.
3The Regulation is amended by adding the attached Schedule 2(2) and Schedule 8(2) in numerical order.
4This Order comes into force on January 1, 2016.
