1Section 15 of New Brunswick Regulation 84-170 under the Prescription Drug Payment Act is amended
(a) by adding after subsection (1) the following:
15(1.1)Nothing in this section prevents a participating provider from refunding a beneficiary the amount, or a portion of the amount, referred to in subsection (1).
(b) by repealing subsection (2) and substituting the following:
15(2)If a beneficiary makes a claim against the programme under section 14, an amount equal to the amount required to be charged under subsection (1) for each entitled service shall be deducted from the amount of the reimbursement, if any.
