REGULATION 2011-65

Fire Prevention Act

1Section 2 of New Brunswick Regulation 82-95 under the Fire Prevention Act is amended
(a) in the definition “National Building Code” by striking out “2005” and substituting “2010”;
(b) in the definition “standard”
(i) by repealing paragraph (a) and substituting the following:
(a) 2nd edition of Underwriters’ Laboratories of Canada CAN/ULC S531-02 “Standard for Smoke Alarms”, including Amendment No.1,
(ii) in paragraph (d) by striking out “2005” and substituting “2010”;
(iii) by repealing paragraph (e) and substituting the following:
(e) any standard, specification, code or other document referenced by any standard referred to in paragraphs (a) to (d) and in the National Building Code.
2This Regulation comes into force on December 1, 2011.
