1Paragraph 15(2)(c) of New Brunswick Regulation 84-133 under the Fish and Wildlife Act is amended by striking out “twelve hours” and substituting “twenty-four hours”.
2Subsection 16(2) of the Regulation is repealed and the following is substituted:
16(2)Every person who kills a deer shall, at the same time the person presents the deer for registration,
(a) present the licence under which the person killed the deer to the deer registration agent, and
(b) when requested to do so by the registration agent, remove the tag attached to an antler or through an ear of the deer and attach a registration tag provided by the registration agent to the right foreleg of the deer.
3Subsection 17(1) of the Regulation is amended
(a) by repealing paragraph (b) and substituting the following:
(b) ensure that the tag attached by the hunter to an antler or through an ear of the deer is affixed properly and, following the removal of the tag, forward it to the Minister when required to do so,
(b) by repealing paragraph (c) and substituting the following:
(c) if the person who presented the deer attaches a registration tag to the right foreleg of the deer, ensure that the registration tag is properly attached,
(c) by adding after paragraph (c) the following:
(c.1) if the person who presented the deer does not attach a registration tag to the right foreleg of the deer, attach the registration tag to the right foreleg of each deer,
4Section 18 of the Regulation is repealed and the following is substituted:
18 No person shall remove the registration tag attached to the right foreleg of the deer by the person presenting the deer for registration or by the registration station agent.
