1Schedule A of New Brunswick Regulation 94-89 under the Highway Act is amended
(a) in Part I
(i) by adding before the heading “Division B” the following:
Division A.1
Route 1 - St. Stephen to Gilmans Corner
1.1All that portion of Route 1 located in Saint Stephen Parish, Saint David Parish and Saint Croix Parish, Charlotte County, designated as a level I controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Church Street and the centre of the median for Route 1; thence in an easterly direction along the centre line of Route 1 for a distance of 18.596 kilometers to the centre of the grade separation for Route 1 and Route 127, including all existing and future interchange or at grade intersection ramps and on and off lanes including tapers on all connecting highways.
Church Street
1.2All that portion of Church Street located in Saint Stephen Parish, Charlotte County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Church Street and the centre of the median for Route 1; thence in a northwesterly direction along the centre line of Church Street for a distance of 180 metres, and
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Church Street and the centre of the median for Route 1; thence in a southeasterly direction along the centre line of Church Street for a distance of 185 metres.
Route 3
1.3All that portion of Route 3 located in Saint Stephen Parish, Charlotte County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 3 and the centre of the grade separation for Route 1; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Route 3 for a distance of 156 metres.
King Street
1.4All that portion of King Street located in Saint Stephen Parish, Charlotte County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of King Street and the centre of the grade separation for Route 1; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of King Street for a distance of 304 metres.
St. David Ridge Road
1.5All that portion of St. David Ridge Road located in Saint David Parish, Charlotte County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of St. David Ridge Road and the centre of the median for Route 1; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of St. David Ridge Road for a distance of 153 metres, and
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of St. David Ridge Road and the centre of the median for Route 1; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of St. David Ridge Road for a distance of 170 metres.
(ii) by repealing the heading “Route 1 - Waweig River to Bethel Area” preceding section 2 and substituting the following:
Route 1 - Gilmans Corner to Bethel area
(iii) by repealing section 2 and substituting the following:
2All that portion of Route 1 from Route 127 to the point that is 0.150 kilometre west of Oven Head Road located in Saint Croix Parish and Saint Patrick Parish, Charlotte County, designated as a level II controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 127 and the centre of the median for Route 1; thence in an easterly direction along the centre line of Route 1 for a distance of approximately 19.226 kilometres to the point that is 0.150 kilometre west of the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 1 and Oven Head Road, including all existing and future interchange or at grade intersection ramps and on and off lanes including tapers on all connecting highways.
(iv) by repealing section 3 and substituting the following:
3All those portions of Route 127 at Gilmans Corner located in Saint Croix Parish, Charlotte County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 127 and the centre of the median for Route 1; thence in a northerly direction along the centre line of Route 127 for a distance of 185 metres, and
Beginning at the intersection of the centre line of the travelled portion of Route 127 and the centre of the median for Route 1; thence in a southerly direction along the centre line of Route 127 for a distance of approximately 238 metres to the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Route 127 and Route 170.
(v) by repealing the heading “Bethel Pit Road (west)” preceding section 11 and substituting the following:
Barker Road (west)
(vi) by repealing section 11 and substituting the following:
11All that portion of Barker Road (west) located in Saint Patrick Parish, Charlotte County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Barker Road (west) and Route 1; thence in a southeasterly direction along the centre line of Barker Road (west) for a distance of 200 metres.
(vii) by repealing the heading “Bethel Pit Road (east)” preceding section 12 and substituting the following:
Barker Road (east)
(viii) by repealing section 12 and substituting the following:
12All that portion of Barker Road (east) located in Saint Patrick Parish, Charlotte County, designated as a level III controlled access highway and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centre lines of the travelled portions of Barker Road (east) and Route 1; thence in a southwesterly direction along the centre line of Barker Road (east) for a distance of 200 metres.
(b) by repealing Part II.
