Appointment of animal protection officers
10Every animal protection officer before beginning his or her duties shall
(a) take and subscribe the following oath, or
(b) make and subscribe the following affirmation,
before a commissioner for taking affidavits or a notary public and return it to the Minister:
I .............. of the Parish of.............. in the county of.............. in the Province of New Brunswick, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully perform and discharge the several duties of an animal protection officer under the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and regulations. (In the case where an oath is taken add “So help me God”)
