64.2Despite any other Act of the Legislature or any privilege of the law of evidence, in exercising powers or performing duties under this Act, the Ombud has the right
(a)
to enter any office of a public body and, subject to section 70, examine and make copies of any record in the custody of the public body, and
(b)
to converse in private with any officer or employee of a public body.
