Assistance to investigator

26.4(1)Where an investigation into a conduct complaint is conducted, every member of a police force, including an auxiliary police officer, shall provide the investigator with any information and assistance requested by the investigator.
26.4(2)Subsection (1) does not apply to
(a)
the member of the police force being investigated, or
(b)
the representative of the member of a police force who comes into possession of information relating to the complaint by virtue of their capacity as representative.
