Registration of amendment to pension plan
11(1)The administrator of a pension plan shall apply to the Superintendent for registration of an amendment to a pension plan within 60 days after the effective date of the amendment.
11(2)An application for registration under subsection (1) shall be made by paying the prescribed fee and filing with the Superintendent
(a) a completed application in the form provided by the Superintendent,
(b) a certified copy of the amending document,
(c) a certified copy of the restated pension plan, if required by the Superintendent,
(d) certified copies of any other prescribed documents, and
(e) any other prescribed information.
11(3)The administrator of a pension plan shall file with the Superintendent a certified copy of each document that changes the documents that create and support the pension plan or pension fund.
11(4)An amendment to a pension plan is not effective until an application for the registration of the amendment is made in accordance with this Act and the regulations.
11(5)An amendment to a pension plan may be made effective as of a date before the date on which the amendment is registered.
11(6)The Superintendent shall issue to the administrator of a pension plan notice of registration for each amendment to the plan registered under this Act.
