Statements of parties
79(1)Within ten days after the receipt of the notice under subsection 78(1) each party
(a)
shall submit to the Board a statement of the matters in dispute and include in the statement its proposal concerning the award to be made by the arbitration tribunal in respect of the matters in dispute, and
(b)
shall annex to the statement a copy of the previous collective agreement and previous arbitral award, if any, that applied to the bargaining unit.
79(2)When three persons are appointed to act as members of an arbitration tribunal under section 78 the Board, by notice in writing, shall
(a)
establish the members as an arbitration tribunal,
(b)
refer the matters in dispute to the arbitration tribunal, and
(c)
send a copy of the statements under subsection (1) to the chairperson of the arbitration tribunal.
