Witness outside the Province
43.1When a witness outside the Province gives evidence in accordance with a summons issued under subsection 43(1.1),
(a)
the evidence shall be given under oath or affirmation in accordance with the law of the Province, and
(b)
the evidence is deemed to be given in the Province for the purposes of the laws relating to evidence, procedure and contempt of court.
