Appointment of occupational health and safety officers
5(1)The board of directors of the Commission may appoint occupational health and safety officers for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Act and the regulations and designate one of the officers as the Chief Compliance Officer.
5(2)The Commission shall issue to each officer an identification card signed by the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Commission.
5(3)The Commission may designate officers who may be appointed by the government of another province or the Government of Canada to carry out health and safety inspections or other work on behalf of that government.
