Offences and penalties
47(1)Every person who violates or fails to comply with any provision of this Act or the regulations or fails to comply with an order made under this Act or the regulations, commits an offence and is liable on conviction
(a) to a fine of not more than $250,000, or
(b) to a term of imprisonment not exceeding six months,
or to both.
47(2)Where an offence under this Act is committed or continued on more than one day, it shall be deemed to be a separate offence for each day on which the offence is committed or continued.

47(1)Every person who violates or fails to comply with any provision of this Act or the regulations or fails to comply with an order made under this Act or the regulations, commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction
(a) to a fine of not more than fifty thousand dollars and in default of payment is liable to the procedures laid down in the Provincial Offences Procedure Act in the event of default of payment of a fine, or
(b) to a term of imprisonment not exceeding six months,
or to both.
47(2)Where an offence under this Act is committed or continued on more than one day, it shall be deemed to be a separate offence for each day on which the offence is committed or continued.
