Payments to patient’s family and other dependants
54The Public Trustee shall, out of the money in the Public Trustee’s hands belonging to a patient for whom the Public Trustee is committee under this Act, pay such sums as the Public Trustee considers advisable to the patient’s family or other persons dependent on the patient.

54The Administrator of Estates shall, out of the money in the Administrator’s hands belonging to a patient for whom the Administrator is committee, pay such sums as the Administrator considers advisable to the patient’s family or other persons dependent upon the patient.
