Offence committed by medical practitioner
53A medical practitioner is guilty of an offence,
(a)
who gives a prescription or administers any liquor in evasion or violation of this Act, and
(b)
who gives to or writes for a person a prescription for or including liquor for the purpose of enabling or assisting a person
(i)
to evade any of the provisions of this Act, or
(ii)
to obtain liquor to be used as a beverage, or to be sold or disposed of in a manner in violation of the provisions of this Act.
