(i)
extend the closed season beyond the time fixed by the regulations; and
(ii)
provide that the extension of the closed season continue during the period of time prescribed by the order; and
(b)
by order, prohibit or restrict hunting or angling during the open season for the period of time prescribed by the order,
where he considers it necessary for the protection of the forests on account of fire hazard.
115(2)Where an order is made under subsection (1), the order shall
(a)
define the portion or portions of the Province over and in regard to which the order applies; and
(b)
be published
(i)
in The Royal Gazette; and
(ii)
in such public newspapers as the Minister considers necessary.
115(3)Every order made under subsection (1) shall have the same effect as if enacted in this Act and a violation thereof shall be punished in like manner as a violation in the closed season as provided by this Act or the regulations.
