Cessation of employment before the day to be substituted for public holiday
20Where the employment of an employee ceases before the day that is substituted, designated or given for the public holiday under subsection 18(3) or paragraphs 18(4)(b) or 18(5)(b), the employer shall pay to the employee, in addition to any other payment to which the employee is entitled upon the ceasing of employment, the regular wages for that day.
