Penalties respecting loss of voting rights
119Any person who is convicted of having committed any offence that is a corrupt or illegal practice shall, during the five years next after the date of his being convicted, in addition to any other punishment by this or any other Act prescribed, be disqualified from and be incapable of
(a)
being registered as an elector or of voting at any election,
(b)
holding any office in the nomination of the Crown or of the Lieutenant-Governor in Council, or
(c)
being elected to or sitting in the Legislative Assembly and, if at such date he has been elected to the Legislative Assembly, his seat shall be vacated from the time of such conviction.
