3Before performing any of the duties or exercising any of the powers of a coroner, a coroner shall take an oath or make a solemn affirmation as follows: I, ___________________________________________, of _________________________________________ in the County of _________________________, do swear (or solemnly affirm) that I will faithfully, impartially and honestly perform the duties and exercise the powers of a coroner to the best of my ability. (In the case when an oath is taken, add “So help me God”)
3Before undertaking or performing any of the duties pertaining to his office, a coroner shall
(a)
take and subscribe the following oath of office, or
(b)
make and subscribe the following affirmation of office,
to be filed with the Chief Coroner:
I, __________________________________________ of ________________________________ in the County of ___________________________ , do swear (or solemnly affirm) that I will well and truly serve our Sovereign Lady the Queen and faithfully, impartially and honestly perform all the powers and duties of a coroner to the best of my ability. (In the case where an oath is taken add “So help me God”)
3Before undertaking or performing any of the duties pertaining to his office, a coroner shall
(a)
take and subscribe the following oath of office, or
(b)
make and subscribe the following affirmation of office,
