Continuing offences, limitation period, civil remedy
214.2(1)Repealed: 2008, c.11, s.4
214.2(2)If an offence under this Part continues for more than one day,
(a)
the minimum fine that may be imposed is the minimum fine set by the
Provincial Offences Procedure Act multiplied by the number of days during which the offence continues, and
(b)
the maximum fine that may be imposed is the maximum fine set by the
Provincial Offences Procedure Act multiplied by the number of days during which the offence continues.
214.2(3)Any prosecution for an offence under this Part may be instituted at any time within two years from the time when the subject matter of the complaint arose.
214.2(4)No civil remedy for an act or omission is suspended or affected by reason that the act or omission is an offence under this Part.
