Effect of rural plan for a village
41The adoption of a rural plan does not commit the village or the Province to undertake a proposal outlined or suggested in the rural plan, but shall prevent the village from undertaking a development in a manner that is inconsistent with a proposal or policy outlined or suggested in the plan.

Effect of rural plan for a village
41(1)Before carrying out or authorizing a development in a village, the Province shall consider a rural plan prepared for the village.
41(2)The adoption of a rural plan does not commit the village or the Province to undertake a proposal in the rural plan, but, in the case of a village, shall prevent the undertaking of a development in a manner inconsistent with a proposal or policy outlined or suggested in the plan.
