A diving supervisor shall ensure that a life line used by a diver is
(
a
)
secured at the surface to a safe anchor point,
(
b
)
tended at all times by a tender,
(
c
)
secured in a manner that will prevent loss of contact with the diver,
(
d
)
attached to the diver’s safety harness, and
(
e
)
of sufficient length without knots or splices.
